@magneticeyerecords ‘Dirt [Redux]’ tribute album to AIC is out today… as one of the kickstarter backers in 2018, the anticipation of these original @nightjarillustration cover paintings has been a lesson in patience & well worth it. I initially only planned on the back cover, but ended up with the set.

Nashville’s critically-acclaimed psyche / space rock band HOWLING GIANT have contributed a Pink Floyd cover to a tribute compilation coming from Magnetic Eye Records.

The band provided their interpretation of the Pink Floyd obscurity, “Matilda Mother” (streaming below), to the colossal “The Wall [Redux]” and “Best Of Pink Floyd“ releases set to arrive this fall. The releases will cover Pink Floyd’s classic album The Wall, as well as a bunch of their other songs recorded by such acts as Ruby The Hatchet, The Melvins, Domkraft, ASG, Mark Lanegan, Year Of The Cobra, LowFlyingHawks, Sasquatch and others.

In HOWLING GIANT related news, the band will embark upon a U.S. east coast tour in May, dubbed “Escape From The Lab 2018“, prior to their appearance at this year’s Psycho Las Vegas fest in August.  Here are those dates:
